Alessandro Pepe, psicologo, Ph.D., è attualmente ricercatore presso il dipartimento di Scienze Umane per la Formazione “Riccardo Massa”, Università di Milano-Bicocca. Le sue aree di ricerca riguardano l’applicazione e lo sviluppo di metodi di ricerca quantitativa e qualitativa in psicologia clinica e dello sviluppo. E’ autore di numerose pubblicazioni nazionali ed internazionali caratterizzate dall’utilizzo di metodologie a matrice mista nelle scienze sociali, specialmente nelle aree del benessere soggettivo, trauma e diritti umani. La sua esperienza copre l’analisi dei dati quantitativi e qualitativi nelle popolazioni a rischio di trauma, che vivono in contesti di crisi militare o di violenza politica. E’ stato principal investigator (PI) di un grant dal titolo “Metodi misti nella ricerca sul benessere: dal punto di vista del bricoleur alla prospettiva del genetista”. Inoltre, è stato co-PI e co-candidato per diverse altre proposte di ricerche nazionali e internazionali.
