Psychologist and Cognitive-Constructivist Psychotherapis, Carla is a member of SITCC (Society for Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy), she is an EMDR Practitioner (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, a protocol to treat trauma), and first level in the Italian training for sensorimotor psychotherapy. She has a PhD in Human Sciences from the University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy). She teaches at the School for Cognitive-Constructivist Psychotherapy NOUS in Milan, and she currently teaches “Models for psychoeducational interventions with people with disability” and runs laboratories in the field of Psychology of Education at the University of Milano-Bicocca. In the past, she taught Psychology of Disability and Inclusion, and Developmental Psychology. Her research interests are the development of emotional competence, with a special focus on emotion regulation and on the attachment relationships, both typical and atypical.
