PROMEHS is a European KA3 project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union (2019-2022) aimed at developing, implementing, and evaluating a school curriculum to promote mental health at school.

The project, which started back in 2008, aims at studying the prosocial and hostile behaviours in cases of bullism, with respect to the socio-emotional competences such as the understanding of emotion, empathy, theory of mind and moral judgment, from the preschool age up to pre-adolescence.

Within this project, the UNIMIB team designs and realises the training activities linked to the development of socio-emotional skills at school. In particular, the team: 1) identifies the instruments to measures the socio-emotional competences in 5, 6 and 7 years old children durint the pre-test and the post-test phases; 2) train the people who will conduct the intervention at school; 3) supervise and monitor the training run in the schools.

The project aimed at sudying the role of emotional understanding, theory of mind and attachment in explaining the different prosocial behaviours in preschool age.
